This pair of antique cast iron bookends features the likeness of a grazing saddled horse

with more symbols to be found on the spine

It is in the likeness of an antique car with a 1902 license plate and black wheels

though it does have some yellowing discoloration on several of the keys

William L. Todd who worked alongside partner Bob Shaw at the world famous Bert Grimm's Tattoo Studio at Nu Pike in Long Beach California starting in 1973. This hand etched stencil is one of a kind. It was acquired from Col. Todd's son, Larry, from his personal collection of his father's effects from Bert Grimm's shop. Please see the attached letter
