This tequila is made from 100% Agave Tequilana Azul Weber from the Tequila Valley. Agaves are individually harvested by hand upon reaching full maturity. On average, the blue agave is 9 years old, ensuring they meet the strict standard for Monte Azul. The agaves are slow cooked in Auto claves for 18 hours, then shredded in a roller mill.
